As 2014 comes to a close, let's take a nice moment to reflect on what GamePoint has done over the last 12 months. It was a busy year filled with change, but the one thing that didn't change was your amazing support throughout the year, and for that we thank you.

January/February

January was traditionally a slower month, recovering from the Winter Wonder Week and the holidays. We did have time to unveal WordTornado for the iPad, meaning WordTornado fans could play their favorite game whereever they went. February turned out to be big for everyone since we increased the daily Coins amount. This eventually snowballed into the 3 hourly gift later in the year. February also was a month filled with (winter)sports and to celebrate this we had SuperBingo and RoyalDice events. At the end of the month we asked you to fill in our survey for our helpdesk. You responded in great numbers and rewarded us with detailed feedback. Speaking of great numbers, we hit 150,000 likes on Facebook!

 

March/April

To mark winter finally coming to an end, in March we had the spring smiley contest, which resulted in a few new smileys to celebrate spring with. We also made the spring wallpaper available for everyone. Near the end of the month it was time to make everyone VIP for a weekend. Our April Fools' prank also made the news because we announced that we were developing our Bingo for the Oculus Rift (a headset allowing players to enter a virtual reality world). Guess some people didn't look at the date! In April we celebrated Easter by giving away Coins and free (S)VIPs! 

 

May/June

Looking to improve an already great game, in May we added more opportunities to win in Bingo by introducing new Bingo patterns. And
as much as we enjoy our new games, we paid homage to some GamePoint classics like Backgammon and Darts by retiring them to their
new home in Playground, so that players can still enjoy them. June marked the unrevealing of a new and improved website that
removed a lot of clutter and let us showcase our games better. Around the same time, we also added more Bingo features and
upgraded RummyClub as well. However, a lot more people were interested in the upcoming World Cup! The staff at GamePoint got
their colors ready at the office and celebrated the World Cup by increasing the daily Coins gift for all players.

July/August

We kicked off July with a SuperBingo night where we filled the SuperPots extra fast and invited players to take a chance and win big. And as our excitement about the World Cup continued, we offered more opportunities for free Coins and added smileys so everyone could cheer for their team. We also revealed a new and updated version of our Hearts game. However, our biggest reveal was our brand new Poker game on GamePoint! Our team worked hard on it and players let us know how excited they were! Summer was looking great, especially with our relaxing summer theme and summer smileys. In August, pirates somehow took over GamePoint and several treasures were hidden in games. The lucky treasure hunters were again rewarded with additional prizes.

September/October

September was a busy month as we worked hard towards the launch of our updated Bingo. We were so excited, we even made a video tutorial for it. Players were treated to a larger version of the game, improved chat windows, a full redesign of the smiley menu and chat channels and faster ways to buy cards. This was also the introduction of our Bingo caller! October was just as full with updates, starting with our improved RoyalDice and even more Bingo updates, like the Bingo carousel. And of course, Halloween was in full swing at GamePoint. Our games got a spooky makeover and we had goblins, bats and black cats run amok through our games. Players rushed over to find them and claim free Coins along the way.

November/December

To make way for the upcoming holidays, in November we added new Bingo rooms several times. And we also introduced our 6-hourly gift, meanings more Coins for everyone. However, since we also reached 10 million (wow!) active registered users, we decided to use the occasion to increase the Coins EVEN MORE by making it into a 3-hourly gift. December is obviously the biggest and busiest month at GamePoint as we got ready for our 2014 Winter Wonder Week! We had a week packed with SuperBingo events and giveaways where we gave away amazing prizes like iPads and gift cards. We also held our 3rd Live Video Bingo and gave away iPhone 6's to celebrate the launch of our Bingo app for the iPhone. We carried the Winter Wonder Week momentum to Christmas and New Years, by offering sales and special rooms based on the amount of Coins you had.

All in all, it's been an exciting 2014 at GamePoint. And we already have great things to look forward to in the 2015, like our highly-demanded Bingo mobile app for Android! But nothing would have been possible without our amazing community of players that support us and continue to play with us, year after year. Thus, all of us at GamePoint want to wish you a great New Year's Eve and New Year's Day! We hope to have an even better year with you in 2015!
