GamePoint has updated WordTornado to now take advantage of the same layout as our other updated games like Bingo, RoyalDice and CardParty! This means your favorite word game now comes with new features like:
- A sharp, new navigation bar at the top of the page showing your current Coin balance, level progression, online friends (click their name to join their room) and a quick way to change rooms within WordTornado.
- You'll notice a redesigned chat that's the same size as before, but organized much more efficiently. When you receive a private message, it'll pop up via something we call Chat Heads that help you navigate multiple conversations. Click a Chat Head to see the player's name and chat privately or click on the three-person icon at the top of the tab to return to the room chat. If you're talking with someone who isn't your friend yet, you'll see an 'Add Friend' button appear behind their player name. You can still add friends manually through your friendslist or by clicking their name in the lobby.
- One more chat update, now when you type a long sentence, the input field will enlarge so you can see all of your text!
- We've moved your announcements (friends coming online, your friends winning, etc.) to now appear at the top right instead of the bottom right. You'll keep your chat clear and unobstructed.
- If you want to change your online status or change any of your settings, all you have to do is click your avatar in the top left corner. You'll see a menu appear with all sorts of options, including your statistics, wallet, prizes and accessing Servicepoint for all your questions and communications with our Support.
